We had such an amazing, fun evening in the deep oasis of Haiku at The Gardens sanctuary aka The Spirit of Aloha to celebrate a birthday event.
The birthday event was concluded with an extraordinary performance by Maui’s extraordinary fire handlers from The Lucid Fire. Lead by our friend Travis French, these fire dancers captured the audiences breath and eliminated not only the sanctuary, but also our spirits.
Since the venue only allowed vegetarian and vegan food, we served our pizzas with no regular cheese and our homemade cashew vegan cheese.

The owner of The Gardens, Frederick Honig, had a vision to create a piece of Heaven on Earth and created the beautiful, spiritual sanctuary for the last 25 years. He raises peacocks and white doves and dedicates his time promoting peace, and well-being.
